While using Tally you may have a problem that some of the shortcuts not working in the tally.
You may have faced a problem using the rewrite Tally Data command (Ctrl+Alt+R) is not working in the tally.

This problem may be occurred due to some other software you have recently installed that took over the shortcut command. This software is in most cases Ip Messenger or any other IP transfer software if you disable the IP messenger software then this command in tally would work.

Steps to be followed

1. Go to the control panel and add or remove programs
2. Find which software is recently installed
3. if you have installed IP messenger then go to the settings of IP messenger and changed the shortcut key used by that software. Or
4. if you are using tally then don't use IP Messenger and do check that the messenger icon is not showing in the taskbar if it is shown then right-click on it and click on exit
5. now this shortcut command will work check command in tally

If the above-given solution is not working then check if is there any problem with your keyboard all your keyboard keys are working check then in notepad
If the problem persists then restart your computer then check or reinstall the tally ERP.9.
