How to set Default GST Registration Type in Tally GST
In Tally GST when we are working we have to deal with many problems.. one of them is to enter each and every dealer to consumer or Unregistered.
This TDL make ledger default registration type to consumer or unregistered whatever you want. When you edit the ledger it will automatically convert the registration type to the consumer.
If you want to change it to Unregistered then change Consumer to Unregistered.
Adding TDL to Tally
For adding this TDL to the tally Download the file below the given link.
then go to Gateway of Tally > Enter F12 > Click on Product & Features > Enter F4 > Enter the Full URL of file (TDL)
It is advisable to keep TDL in the folder where Tally is installed.
You can edit the file in Notepad
if Tally is installed in D:/ Drive and the file name is GSTdealertype.txt then the full URL will be
D:\Tally.ERP9GST\GST_Dealer Reg_Type.tcp
